ten months

ryker is amazing! he is growing so fast and i am making sure we enjoy every moment. ryks is very observant. he watches people carefully. he is also an entertainer. the other night we went out for ice cream with my family and my future sister-in-law's family. ryks was the center of attention. he squinted his eyes, laughed a lot, and cheered for everyone. i was so proud of him! he even flirted with nichole's sister gabby. he is such a ladies' man!

ashley, chris and nichole are adorable with ryks. i love that they are so close to him. they even fight over who gets to hold him or take him on walks. graham's brothers are also great with ryker. it is so wonderful ryks has such supportive aunts and uncles who get to see him often and watch him grow.

we have big news at our house - ryker is now scooting! it's a funny approach and seems very exhausting but he is getting around. after he scoots a few times he stops to clap and cheer for himself. i'll have to post a video soon. we laugh so much. we had to take ryks to the doctor's because he has asthma and needed medicine. while we were there i learned ryks weighs 29 lbs. that's a lot of weight for a ten month old to pick up off the floor. so we think ryks will forget about crawling and go from scooting to walking. i love my chunky baby!!
